Through the success of Eberhard Equipment, Ken and Sandra Eberhard founded the
Eberhard Foundation in 1992 and over $360,000 has been distributed to local,
national, and international charities. The Foundation’s purpose is to
provide shelter for the homeless and to help people get an education who
cannot afford one. As a major donor and supporter of Share Our Selves (SOS),
Ken volunteers each week as a financial counselor for the SOS Financial Aid
Program. He also sits on the Social Services Committee which oversees the
program and reports directly to the SOS Board of Directors. In addition, he
serves on the SOS Patient Care Review Committee, recognition of his
background in philosophy and theology. Locally, the family supports many
organizations that serve Orange County residents in need of housing,
supportive services, educational opportunities, and job training including
Orange Coast Interfaith Shelter, Catholic Charities, Women’s Transitional
Living Center, Taller San Jose, and Wise Place to name a few. Eberhard
Equipment and its founders are making Orange County a better place to live.
